This unit specifies the outcomes required for the operation of a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachment, for licensing purposes.
Course Description:
Unit of Competency, including National Assessment Instrument:
- Practical assessment of operator competency to WORKSAFE standards
- Theory and Maths calculation assessment to WORKSAFE standards. Worksafe Assessor 1712
Course cost is $595.00 - Student to process Worksafe application online and pay fee direct.

(LLN - Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirements)
Good English skills are required to be able to take verbal instructions safely during the practical exercises, to understand the training content and to sit written assessments during this course. All maths calculations must be performed by the learner in written english, without any assistance (calculator allowed). Student must wear enclosed shoes (steel cap preferred) High Vis PPE available to use.
