?????????? ABOVE EXCELLENT REVIEW – BUSSELTON ADVANCED DRIVER TRAINING (BADT) ??????????
I recently had the absolute pleasure of completing my Heavy Rigid (HR) license training with Busselton Advanced Driver Training (BADT), and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, educational, and empowering. The level of training provided was outstanding, and their commitment to safety, practical skills, and student success is second to none.
A very special and heartfelt thank you to Carole Sweet, my trainer and assessor, whose knowledge, patience, and supportive nature made all the difference. Carole is not only incredibly experienced with Road Ranger gearboxes and heavy vehicle operations, but she also has a unique gift for teaching that makes complex tasks feel achievable and confidence-inspiring. Her calm and clear instructions, practical insights, and dedication to helping me succeed were instrumental in me passing my assessment and obtaining my HR license.
Carole's ability to explain techniques in a relatable way and adapt the training to suit individual learning styles really sets her apart. She genuinely cares about her students and goes the extra mile to make sure they are safe, competent, and fully prepared for the road ahead. Thanks to her expert guidance, I now feel confident operating a heavy vehicle with a Road Ranger gearbox—something I once found daunting.
The facilities, vehicles, and support from the entire BADT team were top-tier, and it's clear they take pride in their role in shaping safer, better-trained drivers for Western Australia.
If you're looking to gain your HR license or undertake any advanced driver training, I wholeheartedly recommend Busselton Advanced Driver Training—and if you're lucky enough to train with Carole Sweet, you’ll be in the best hands possible.
Thank you again to the entire BADT team, and especially to Carole. You've helped open a new chapter in my life and career,

Very happy with my experience. Very experienced trainer and assessor. Carole was friendly, very patient and helpful. Was a tremendous amount of information and technique to process in 1 day for novice learners. We didn't master it, but we did conquer that wretched road ranger gear box and all passed. Truck was older, but in great condition and easy to drive. Also great that they came to us, which meant that we saved on travel and accommodation, and could learn in a quieter and familiar location rather than a busy metro centre. Great all round. Am super happy and highly recommend Busselton Advanced Driver Training.
