Student MUST HOLD A CURRENT WESTERN AUSTRALIAN DRIVERS LICENCE to be eligible for any licence upgrade.
Automatic Gearbox
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to drive a heavy combination vehicle safely including systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions, monitoring of traffic and road conditions, management of vehicle condition and performance, coupling and uncoupling of trailer, and effective management of hazardous situations.
Assessment of this unit is conducted by our assessors within a licensing examination conducted by, or under the authority of, the relevant state/territory Road Traffic Authority. Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements are applicable to this unit.
Assessments will be recorded as per the WA Department of Transport policy.
It is a Department of Transport requirement that a training unit of competence must be completed before assessment can be done. In the event that you are deemed not yet competent in this unit, assessment will be postponed until further training is completed.
All clients must meet Department of Transport Customer Eligibility requirements for eye sight and health and medical issues to proceed with course and driving test.
*Some pre-training study and answering written questions is required to be completed, prior to attendance.
*Student required to wear enclosed shoes, High Vis PPE avail if required. Kitchen facilities avail in Busselton only.
